2. Discussion of rescheduling Abbot Klassen’s talk ( cancelled due to snowstorm March 1
• Colin will contact the Abbot to reschedule for July 10-12, or 17 or 18, and the Basilica

3. Goal One Committee Report
• Discussion of worthwhile training session by Gary Schoener and Pat Dale held recently. Shari to contact Dick Rice at The Retreat and Lonnie from St Ed’s for training of VFRG volunteers on the aspect of survivors’ spiritual counseling. Terry Schaunessy of Loyola has been contacted and is not interested in assisting with this.

4. Voices of Hope Committee Report
• Next event will be held April 21 at Lumen Christi. Susan P, Dr Larson, and Sr Catherine all to again present. Tim to moderate. Same orders as for November event have been contacted and invited to attend. Member and parish emails will been sent. Notices will be sent to Catholic Spirit, Pioneer Press, and Tribune.

5. Discussion of April and May meetings
• Agreed to skip April meeting due to business of Holy Week and Easter
• May meeting to be longer to allow for planning of next year. Jack and Sue encouraged to attend to assist with this evaluation and planning ( they are finishing their 2-year terms). They encouraged the Board to find at least 2 or 3 replacements. Jack to contact Basilica for their suggestions. Other suggested names were : Mary Lou Lodgsdon, Tom Garvey, Mike Steigerwald. Shari volunteered to pick up food and bottled water in lieu of a potluck. We will each contribute towards the cost of the meal. Suzanne volunteered to bring a cake;Sue suggested carrot cake:).

6. News Items and Other Business
• Updates on health of past SC members Terry Dosh and Bob Burns
• Update on upcoming New Ways Ministry conference
• Colin volunteered to write a letter to AB Flynn asking for a meeting where we can explain what we are about ( Suzanne has written such letters the past two years on our behalf with no response)
• Discussion of adding a website posting of volunteer skills we are in need of: Communications/PR/Marketing, Financial/Budgeting, and Resource Delelopment. Suzanne to see to the postings and to a member email solicitation.

7. Closing Reflection
